Sergio Forelli has a long-standing experience in the Russian Federation, moving to Russia in 1994 assisting both Italian and Russian companies.
His activity is focused on M&A, corporate governance, foreign investment and privatization of state-owned enterprises.
In 1998, Sergio was the founder of one Big Four's legal office in Italy. He has significant experience in counselling corporate boards on governance and fiduciary duties and strategic and financial investors in turnaround and M&A transactions.
He has been admitted to practice at Italian Courts and handled proceedings towards the Russian Courts or Arbitration.
Recognized for his experience, he was chosen as a consultant to the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) – West Russia Venture Fund.
In 1994 he founded the magazine "Law and Economics in Russia and the CIS" in collaboration with the Center for Law and Economic based in Moscow.
Sergio is a frequent lecturer at national and international symposia, and he collaborates with the Italian law journal "The Law of Commercial Trade". He speaks fluently English, French and Italian.
