Vincenzo Trani has graduated from Institute of International Economic Relations, Saint Petersburg, Russia, with a degree in Economics and later in Jurisprudence.
In Italy he worked at Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena in various positions. During his stay in Russia, since 2002, has worked as an SME Development Consultant at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development; Deputy General Director at KMB Bank (currently – ZAO Banca Intesa); vice-president of MDM Bank. In 2009 he was appointed as Honorary Consul of the Republic of Belarus in Naples; he was awarded by Pavel Borodin, State Secretary of the Union of Russia and Belarus, an Honorary Medal for Business Development in Russia and Belarus, and shortly after he received an award for his career abroad from Silvio Berlusconi, President of the Council of Ministers of the Italian Republic. He received other Italian awards as recognition of his outstanding career abroad. He has excellent knowledge of Italian, Russian and English. He teaches International Finance at the University of Cassino and Southern Lazio. He is also a member of the boards of various companies and investment funds all over the world, including Russian Wealth Fund MIR (Modernization. Innovation. Development), managed by the Agency of Strategic Initiatives (ASI). He is a vice-president of the Italian-Russian Chamber of Commerce and vice-president of the Association of companies and enterprises GIM Unimpresa.
